MMORPG.com World of Warcraft Correspondent Robert Duckworth writes this overview of the Eye of the Storm Battleground in Blizzard's World of Warcraft.
Eye of the Storm(EotS) is the latest battleground to hit live servers (though the term "latest" is a bit relative, as it came out over a year ago). Heralded as the Outland battleground, the fight does in fact take place on a chunk of floating rock in outer space. If you fall off, you just keep falling. Sadly, EotS leaves the impression that it takes what was kind of fun and turns it into something that isn't very much fun at all. The general atmosphere of the battleground is depressing as well. Lots and lots of purple rock.

The best way to describe this battleground is to say it combines the nodes of Arath ...

MMORPG.com Warhammer Online Correspondent Patrick Buckley writes this overview of the Dwarf Engineer career in Mythic Entertainment's Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.
The Dwarven Engineer is a versatile combatant. His techniques center around doing damage to multiple enemies with an effect that also damages over time. This is only the basic path of the engineer, but it can be specialized into three different, more precise paths upon reaching level eleven. At this point, a Dwarven Engineer has the opportunity to choose one of three paths to devote himself to. Or, he can mix it up and have limited mastery in all three paths. No matter which path is chosen, an engineer can choose to charge into battle with his wrench by his side, or stand behind the meat shields, lobbing deadly bullets ...

MMORPG.com Warhammer Online Correspondent John Lisenby writes this guide for players in the Greenskin starting area, going over available quests and more.
Here is a complete guide to the starting area of the Greenskins. It will carry you from Da Start where you first spawn into the game, through Stunty Mountain ending you up at Stouts' Pens which is the next questing area. You will find coordinates for where things are located and any special notes for each quest. There is no special order the quests are in. I just listed them as I did them.
If you take a quest you can always find out where it is by checking your map "M" key. By default the setting are set to show the quest tracker on the UI and the quest location on the map. The quest location is marked by a red cicle around the are ...
The folks at Warhammer Online have prepared a new dev diary by Lead Artist Russell Chamier, who tals about creating the new Reikland Factory RvR scenario.
RvR is the core of this game. This is illustrated by the fact that the game facilitates making a new character, queuing into a scenario at the tender age of rank 1, and putting fools to the sword. You could easily gain the first 10 ranks of your career doing just that. I love the idea of people experiencing RvR before the T4 campaigns. Nobody shows up late to the party at rank 40 and says, "Ok, what's this RvR noise about?" The war should be felt throughout your time spent here.
Thus, when the Live Team was tasked with creating post-launch content in the form of scenarios to complement the new classes, I was pleased to be a part of ...
